Most of the festival happens within a few blocks of the Old Town Gazebo, and you can walk between those venues in a couple of minutes. Madaket Plaza sits on the waterfront at the foot of C Street, about five minutes away. Blue Ox Millworks is a mile southeast and is the one worth driving to.

Friday, September 25
3:45 PM to 10 PM

Music programming for the festival opens at 5:30 PM at Mendenhall Studios with a Red Cedar, a Native percussion ensemble, followed by The Irie Rockers with reggae, The Cowtown Sound, a rootsy dance band with puppets and costumes, and lxs perdidxs for a honky-tonk celebration. Epitome Gallery hosts a poems & rhymes workshop with Black Humboldt & RA MHTP followed by live music by Hermit Crab and Gladys.

Saturday, September 26
9 AM to 10 PM

Longest day, beginning with waterfront dance and drums at Madaket Plaza during the NCGA Dockside Market, bluegrass and heritage smithing demonstrations at Blue Ox Millworks (blacksmiths and coppersmiths), cultural dance performance and kids' programming at the Humboldt County Library, a puppet parade to the Gazebo with music until ten. Drag show and pop-up exhibit at Clarke Museum beginning at six followed by a live DJ set at Clarke Plaza.

Sunday, September 27
12 PM to 9 PM

Artmaking at Epitome Gallery hosted by Chica Masa and Jullia Finkelstein, storytelling at Da Gou Rou Louwi' Cultural Center, short films and a panel at Eureka Theater, and a swing dancing workshop at the Eagle House ballroom to conclude the weekend.

Saturday, September 26
9 AM to 10 PM
